Amanda Holden has showed off her impression of Love Island’s Lucie Donlan as she addressed claims they look alike.

Some viewers of the ITV2 dating show have pointed out an “uncanny resemblance” between the 21-year-old from Cornwall and the Britain’s Got Talent judge.

Holden, 48, discussed the comparison on the Heart Radio breakfast show she co-hosts with Jamie Theakston.

The actress exclaimed: “People are thinking I look like that Lucie Rose Donlan. But she’s like 12 - I’m flattered!”

Theakston declared: “I don’t think the two of you look at all!” But went on to challenge Holden to impersonate the Islander.

Holden put on a high-pitched, ditzy, cockney accent and mimicked: “I’m Lucie Rose Donlan, I’m 21 and i’m a surfer!”

She later joked: “My daughter in another life?”

Some viewers had taken to Twitter after spotting similarities between the two.

Donlan recently revealed she cut out alcohol for five months and underwent a gruelling fitness regime in order to drop three dress sizes, from a 12 to a 6, before appearing on the show.

The model - who has been on dates with Tommy Fury and Joe Garrat since entering the villa - told the other girls: "I haven't drank since News Years Eve!"

Meanwhile, Holden flaunted her fabulous figure in a series of revealing dresses during the BGT live finals last month.

Ofcom reportedly received nine complaints about Holden’s sheer dress with an embroidered spiderweb covering one breast, which was described it as ‘vulgar’ and disrespectful to young viewers.

But Holden has laughed off complaints saying: “My t*ts seem to become the show’s biggest talking point every year.

“We’ve had plenty of complaints apparently but none from home, let me tell you.”
