Amanda Holden has confessed she's landed in hot water with her daughter Hollie, and made a heartfelt appeal on her radio programme to get out of the dog house.

The star shared on her Heart Breakfast show that she's facing the wrath of her 12 year old after a mix-up with the school schedule led to her forgetting Hollie's netball kit.

Amanda, aged 53, told co-host JK: "I told my daughter HollIe that was no netball club after school today because it's not on the school timetable. But it's try it week, so it is on.

"She's been doing netball forever. Anyway, do you know she literally just put the phone down on me in the car. I can't believe the attitude."

JK chimed in with his own fears: "Do you know what I'm afraid of? For my son, it's coming. And my daughter it's definitely coming. You literally got the phone put down on you?" reports the Mirror.

In a bid to mend fences with her daughter, Amanda launched an urgent call for help, hoping someone could provide Hollie with the necessary kit to participate in her beloved sport.

Amanda pleaded: "I literally got the phone put down on me. So if any of my school friend mums are listening, can you please take a spare kit in for Hollie because she won't forgive me. And Hollie stop ringing me, I'm on air!"

Her colleague JK then remarked: "Even though we're doing this show, life continues. I just got a reminder for Luna's PE kit."

Amanda recognised the irony of that comment, saying: "Oh my God, the irony. I'm across everything else she's doing, I bet she's forgotten her violin today."

Amanda opted out of this year's National Television Awards, stating that the journey to the O2 Arena in Greenwich was simply too much of a hassle. The blonde star, who has frequently graced the awards in previous years, chose to skip this event.

On her radio show, she expressed that she enjoyed "a much nicer evening" at home rather than going to the ceremony. She cited the awkward commute as the main reason for her absence, commenting: "It's a schlep, it's down at the O2, it's just so difficult to get to."
