Amanda Holden has shared a touching video tribute to the women in her life in honour of International Women’s Day (IWD).

The TV and radio host, 51, posted the video image montage on Instagram to celebrate her loved ones including her daughters Lexi (Alexa), 16, and Hollie, 10, and her mother, Judith.

Playing in the background of Amanda's TikTok-made video is Whitney Houston's I'm Every Woman.

"The women who lift up my life and help me live it #internationalwomensday," she captioned the clip, followed by a red love-heart emoji.

Other women who feature in the montage include actors Angela Griffin, Tamzin Outhwaite and Nicola Stephenson, as well as TV chef Lisa Faulkner.

Fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge, Alesha Dixon also makes an appearance in the video celebration, as does interior designer Kelly Hoppen and ex-Pussy Cat Doll/fellow Heart presenter Ashley Roberts.

The first image in the video is a selfie of Holden and her mother, followed by Roberts and Holden looking super-glam, then an older image of Dixon with her fellow judge, in which Amanda is wearing a leotard.

Many of the images feature her daughters, in sweet holiday snapshots and selfies.

Since sharing the touching video, many of the women who appear commented to thank Holden for her sentiment and wish her a Happy International Women's Day.

"Yes! Happy international women’s day!" Griffin wrote.

"Love you and all the fabulous women in our lives," Outhwaite added.

While Ashley Roberts commented: "Happy International Woman’s Day!!"

To further celebrate IWD the radio presenter and Roberts got together to have a chat about why they love being women, the advice they'd give their younger selves and the amazing women who inspire them.

In a video for Heart FM, the pair discussed the positive changes for women in recent years, with Holden telling Roberts, 40: "The women who are getting older are still smashing those glass ceilings – because there’s less of a care about what we’re supposed to be perceived as doing at 40 or 50, or even 20 and 30."

Ashley agreed, responding: "There was a saying that was like ‘35 and on the shelf’ and I was like: ‘What?! I think I’m just beginning!'

"I think I’m having a resurgence at 40. We get to know our bodies more, we’re more connected to ourselves."

The duo also discussed the advice they'd share with their younger selves, with Roberts saying, "It’s going to be a bumpy ride, saddle up but be brave. Believe in yourself, you can do it."

Holden wholeheartedly agreed, before adding: "Also – this has been said before – it's a marathon and not a sprint.

"Just because something’s going to happen in 20 years' time doesn’t mean that you need to give up on the way. Just wait for those 20 years."

When asked which women's shoes she'd like to walk in for a day, Holden revealed that she looks up to the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Aniston.

"I look at all those women who are really smashing it who don’t care and are still doing it and are not bowing down to criticism or constraints," she said. "And I think this year is all about not having that bias towards women, I think these women are breaking every barrier."

Last month, Amanda Holden appeared alongside Holly Willoughby and other stars in a mental health project exhibiting the faces of celebrities over a decade.

The portraits – all featuring those involved with their eyes closed as they intimately take a moment to themselves – were shot by Ray Burmiston and will be presented by Art of London as Take A Moment 2022.
