Amanda Holden's choice of staycation spot had a very special family history, one she shared with a photograph posted to Instagram on Sunday (2 August). Sharing a black and white photo of her youngest daughter Hollie on a rocky ledge on the beautiful Scilly Isles, the TV star matched it side by side to an old photograph of a young lady, taken on the same spot.

Amanda revealed in the caption who the woman was and explained the connection between the two images. Amanda told followers that her grandparents honeymooned there back in the 1940s and the lady in the picture is her grandmother, little Hollie's great-grandmother.

Writing: "77 years ago my wonderful grandparents honeymooned on these beautiful isles... this is #HRH in the exact same spot all these years later!"

While Hollie does look like a little princess, sitting in the same ladylike pose as her great-grandma, the sweet royal nickname mum Amanda uses is actually Hollie's initials, Hollie Rose Hughes.

Amanda and older daughter Lexi jumped in for another shot posing on the rocks, with the mum and daughters looking happy and relaxed, staycationing at such a special family spot.

How lovely!
