Amanda Holden has revealed she feels "so bad" for Eamonn Holmes after he announced he was looking for a new home for his dog Bella.

The hound, who was rescued from Greece by the veteran presenter, is on the lookout for a new home because of Eamonn’s current health condition.

Speaking about the situation during the Heart Showbiz Hub, Ashley Roberts said: “Let’s talk about Eammon Holmes, so he’s asking fans for some help.

“He’s found this dog Bella, fell in love with little Bella. Bella’s come from Greece and had a bit of a tough time over in Greece and he’s like listen I unfortunately can’t walk or run. So he’s asking fans for help to help find Bella a new home.”

In response, Amanda exclaimed: “I feel so bad for Eammon.” The current GB News presenter has experienced a series of health issues in recent weeks that have affected his mobility.

Talking about Bella’s situation in a video on Instagram, Eamonn, 64, said: “This is Bella and Bella’s come the whole way from Greece, and it wasn’t a very happy experience for her in Greece.

“But all of that could change thanks to you. Yes, she is actually looking for the perfect home somewhere that she can feel loved forever and live out the rest of her days in happiness being spoiled.

“She’s got the most beautiful personality, too. As you can see, she’s a very special girl. So if you can offer this little one a home, please get in touch with the canine angels.”

Below the video, Eamonn added: “Think about giving Bella a home . If I could walk and look after myself she would be mine but instead, you could be me. Talk to @TheK9Angels. Absolutely lovely Doggie.”

This isn’t the first time Eamonn has talked about his current personal situation. Last month, he talked about his health and what it had been like to use an anti-gravity treadmill.

He said: “Coming up to thirty minutes on anti-gravity treadmill. It's been tough today. Not every day is easy, well few days are easy. It's all about muscle memory. It trains my legs which aren't forming any connection with my brain.

“Gosh, it is tough today. It is so tough. If you'd asked me a week ago, I'd be saying 'I've made such an improvement' but I regress.

“Sometimes the body plays ball, sometimes it doesn't. But what I do know is if I stay on this and I do all that I'm supposed to, it can only get better."
