Amanda Knox posts selfie in her old prison clothes as she plans for wedding

Amanda Knox has posed for a selfie in the same clothes she wore in prison - as she revealed how she's busy planning for her wedding.

The 32-year-old said on Instagram she was wearing the uniform while working through tasks on her to-do list.

She wrote: "40 days left until the wedding and 267 tasks left on the wedding To Do list. I've locked myself in the craftroom and I'm wearing my old prison uniform.

"Literally the very same sweatshirt and sweatpants I lived in in Casa Circondariale Capanne, Perugia."

Knox, who will exchange vows with fiance Christopher Robinson, spent just under four years in the Italian prison after being convicted of the 2007 murder of her flatmate, British student Meredith Kercher.

She was famously acquitted of the crime in 2011 and exonerated completely in 2015.

Rudy Guede was eventually convicted for the murder and is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence.

Meanwhile, Knox has since gone on to become a criminal justice activist and hosts a podcast, The Truth About True Crime.

She has also written a book and appeared in a self-titled Netflix documentary.
