The 2021 American Music Awards have concluded after a red carpet filled with celebrity appearances and over-the-top ensembles.
This year’s awards ceremony, which took place on Sunday 21 November, was hosted by Cardi B, with celebrities including Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean, BTS and Olivia Rodrigo taking the stage for performances.
Ahead of the awards show, stars such as JoJo Siwa, Diplo and Halle Bailey posed on the red carpet, with Cardi B showing up in two outfits, including a solid gold mask. The rapper then continued to change her outfit throughout the show, with viewers attempting to count all of her awards ceremony looks.

Cardi B
Tonight’s host Cardi B arrived on the red carpet for this year’s AMAs in a black gown with a sequin leopard-print pattern.
The singer then changed outfits, later posing on the red carpet in a Schiaparelli look complete with a gold mask and statement earrings.
Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo chose a purple sequined David Koma gown with a feathered hem for this year’s awards show. The 18-year-old led award nominations ahead of the ceremony.
JoJo Siwa
JoJo Siwa arrived on the red carpet in a black gown with ruffle detailing, with the DWTS star revealing that her earrings were glued on.
Zoe Wees
Zoe Wees appeared on the red carpet in white pants and a white vest, which she wore over a long-sleeved white shirt emblazoned with black. She completed the look with colourful braids.
