AN EASTENDERS star has performed a song popular with Celtic fans on TikTok - with hundreds of people praising her voice.

Shona McGarty, who portrays Whitney Dean in the BBC soap opera, shared a clip of her singing The Fields of Athenry by The Dubliners.

It has since received more than 11,000 likes and has been watched around 170,000 times.

One person wrote: "Goosebumps! Such a beautiful way of singing our anthem."

Another added: "Need you to sing that in the Queen Vic. Absolutely amazing."

Someone said: "Don't know why but this made me burst into tears."
