The 'amazing' Pape Habib Gueye moment that blew Jimmy Thelin away as Aberdeen boss raves after Motherwell win

Jimmy Thelin labelled double hero Pape Habib Gueye “pure quality” - after he took Aberdeen’s winning start to 10 games-in-a-row.

The rejuvenated Senegalese striker sank Motherwell with a brace to put himself clear at the top of the Premiership scoring charts with five goals. The Dons are also level on points with early leaders Celtic. Thelin said: “Pape has had a good start, his first goal was high class - pure quality. It was an amazing goal, he started so far away from goal but showed good running and a very good finish.
