There's an attraction packed with things to do that's offering half price tickets during November. Wild Zoological Park features animal and bird shows, walkthrough enclosures, lorikeet feeding and animal handling.

It normally costs £22 for adults, £16 for children and £19 for concessions to visit the zoo, which is based at the Halfpenny Green Vineyards, off Tom Lane, in Bobbington, between Wolverhampton and Dudley. But tickets are down to just £11 for adults, £8 for kids and £9.50 for concessions between now and the end of November.

A spokesman for Wild posted on Facebook: "Visit any day this November for half price. All single use day tickets for adults, children and concessions are 50% off. We open each day at 11am. We are still running shows including our full size epic display Wild Wings Bird Show!"

People describe the zoo as 'amazing' and it has more than 1,600 five star reviews on Tripadvisor. Split into five different themed lands - Wild Australia, Wild Amazon, Wild Asia, Wild Africa and their Reptiles Unleashed area - you can look out for marmosets, wallabies, lemurs, meerkats, otters and dozens of different bird species. There's a Wild Wonders animal show at 12pm each day followed by a Wild Wings bird show at 1pm.

You just need a voucher code 'November' at the checkout on the Wild website to book the reduced tickets. The offer ends on November 30 and half price tickets purchased cannot be used past this date as the zoo will be going into its Christmas festivities.

One dad posted on TripAdvisor: "This was a slightly surprising but ultimately really joyful visit with my two boys (12) and (13) and parents. The bird display was amazing (being from Wolverhampton I’m delighted and amazed this is where it is!) which even the too cool for school kids really enjoyed. I very rarely leave reviews but want to support this place which is doing wonderful and important conservation work. Do go. The staff are enthusiastic experts and clearly have great pride in their work."

Another added: "Outstanding zoo with outstanding Birds/animal performances/shows. Most importantly for us are that the animals are all very well fed, very well looked after with love and care. The zoo is clean and well looked after. The animal and bird shows in particular are simply the best in the world, it's not one of those you sit and watch the animals doing the tricks, far from this, all the shows are educational, and the animal trainers have great knowledge and understanding of caring and training the animals.

"You can see the staff work very hard and dedicated themselves to working with the animals with great passion and they are not just there for a job. We all were in awe and inspired by the whole experience. My children (ages 14 and 17) and I had the best time, the zoo- trip was for my birthday, I felt like I was being on-set in a Live TV programme such as Planet Earth. Thank you for the best time we had."
