Amazon Prime's hit Emmy-nominated series Bosch is officially coming back for a fifth season.
Based on Michael Connelly's best-selling novels, Bosch stars Titus Welliver as homicide detective Harry Bosch, and the confirmation of a fifth season today (February 13) serves to further the series' position as Amazon's longest-running one-hour series.
"As Prime Video's longest-running one-hour series, Bosch has long been a cornerstone of our scripted programming, and Prime members consistently clamour for more," said Amazon Studios' Head of Scripted Series, Sharon Tal Yguado,
The series stars Titus Welliver, The Wire's Jamie Hector, Being Human's Amy Aquino, The Walking Dead's Madison Lintz and Lance Reddick.
But before we can start looking forward to the fifth season, there's still season four to go, and Amazon has today confirmed when we can expect that to drop on April 13.
Season four will take on the story of Connelly's sixth Harry Bosch book, Angels Flight, where Bosch is assigned to lead a task force to solve the murder of an attorney who's been killed on the eve of his civil rights trial against the LAPD.

With the city on edge and close to erupting in a riot, Bosch must pursue every lead, even if it puts his department under scrutiny, and as one murder intertwines with another, Bosch has to face his past to find a justice that's been eluding him.
"I could not be prouder of the series we are making," Connelly added.
"Bosch is entertaining and relevant to our world today. On top of that we have a fantastic writing staff and the cast and crew are the best. We feel we are just hitting our stride.
"Series four is based on Angels Flight and I don't think we could have chosen a more timely story to tell."
Bosch airs on Amazon Prime.
