Calling all bargain-hunters: Amazon Prime Day 2022 is just five days away – taking place between 12 and 13 July.
The 48-hour sale event sees huge savings across tech, home and kitchen appliances, alcohol, gaming, laptops, TVs and so much more. As well as huge discounts on big-name brands, including Apple, Samsung, KitchenAid, Shark, and Rimmel. And luckily, early deals kicked off on 21 June and continue to roll in.

This deal sees a 27 per cent saving on the Matebook D15 from Huawei. As you know, Amazon kicked off its early deals on 21 June, a whopping three weeks in advance. And while the discounts currently on offer are pretty impressive, if it’s a Fire tablet you’re after, you’re going to have to wait just a little while longer.
If you’re wondering how heavily they’ll be reducecd, last year, the price of the Fire HD 8 (£89.99, Amazon.co.uk) was slashed by nearly 60 per cent, setting customers back just £39.99, which frankly, is a bargain. Similarly, its Fire HD 8 kids pro (£139.99, Amazon.co.uk) was half price – a measly £69.99.

Queen of clean, Mrs Hinch, loves Shark, and so do we. This cleaning tool was featured in our review of the best cordless vacuum cleaners, and it seriously impressed our tester. It features a flexible wand that bends to make like work of cleaning under sofas and coffee tables, while the LED headlight works to “illuminate hidden dust in every corner”, noted our writer. They “found the vacuum effortlessly sucked up everything in sight, making this one of the best” that they tested.

These earbuds are pretty pricey but, thanks to the early Prime Day deal, you can snap them up for a fraction of the cost. When we reviewed the Airpods pro, our tester said they “are a high-end pair of earphones that are difficult to find much fault in”. As for the noise quality, our tester added that “it’s a sound topped by few rivals,” with an impressive active noise-cancelling function that shuts out ambient noise. The Prime Day price is cheaper than the price they were reduced to on Black Friday.

Our writer noted that the “oscillating action feels like it’s cleaning the teeth very thoroughly” and it performed particularly well when “clearing and cleaning braces”. You can even connect the toothbrush to an app via Bluetooth so that you can assess how well you’re brushing your gnashers.

As the OG home hair treatment from Olaplex, this formula is a best seller and we can see why. In our review our tester found that after using the formula alongside the no.0 intensive bond building hair treatment (was £28, now £25.18, Amazon.co.uk), the formula “worked wonders” on their split ends and created noticeably shinier locks – the best results they’d seen from at-home hair treatment, so it’s safe to say we’re fans. And with 50 per cent off thanks to Amazon’s Prime Day, this is not a deal to be missed.
Olaplex No.7 bonding oil: Was £28, now £20.94, Amazon.co.uk
When we reviewed the brand’s entire range, we noticed serious improvements in our lack-lustre locks. And its bonding oil was a firm favourite. Our writer noted that despite its “lightweight formula, it is very nourishing and didn’t leave our hair feeling heavy or greasy”. The “other great thing about the bonding oil is that it provides up to 230C heat protection, as such, it’s great to use before using heat on your hair”, they added. A little goes a long way, so you’ll unlikely make a dent in the bottle until you’re many months down the line.

The online giant has confirmed its huge two-day sale will take place between 12 July and 13 July. But, early deals on big-ticket brands kicked off on 21 June, which is notably earlier than last year, when deals started trickling in around 10 days before.
Discounts on Amazon’s own devices will start tomorrow (8 July), when you’ll be able to save up to 60 per on select devices, including Echo smart speakers, Ring security cameras, Kindles and so much more.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual, two-day sale event that sees the retailer reduce the price of thousands of products across everything from home appliances, fitness equipment, and alcohol to tech, gaming, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

And news last week broke that there might just be a second event. The retail giant is reportedly inviting third-party sellers to submit their lightning deals – short, time-limited promotional discounts – for an event it’s calling the “Prime Fall Deal Event”.
