Amazon shoppers recommend 'perfect' video doorbell as it's slashed in price
Online shoppers are swearing by a new video doorbell that currently has over 50% off. The Certified Refurbished Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus by Amazon has racked up a 4.3-star rating with over 100 reviews recommending the item.
The nifty product usually retails for £161.99 but is currently on sale for £71.99. One of its best features includes four extra seconds of black and white video to show you what happened before the motion was triggered with Pre-Roll.
The upgrade is said to also enjoy improved motion detection and dual-band WiFi connectivity. The 1080p HD allows you to see, hear and speak to anyone from your phone, tablet and PC with instant notifications being sent to the devices when your doorbell is rung or the motion sensors are set off. The device, which can be installed by Amazon, also pairs with Alexa.

Customers have praised the security device's functionality, claiming it is value for money, and is easy to install. They also said it is a good product once you know how to work it. However, some customers reported the battery lasts less than a week.
Deborah Taylor said the purchase was a “win-win” for her, before giving it five stars. She said: “The only reason I bought this is because I’m disabled and can take a long time to get to the door, missing my parcels. Another plus side is I can tell cold callers ‘no thank you’ without having to struggle to the door.”
Another customer said: “You would never know this was a refurb item. Looks and works perfectly. Easy to instal. Would recommend”, and a third added: “Very good product for the money.”
Echoing similar praise, Rafael said: “All working in 10 minutes, very good”, and Andy Littlewood penned: “You would not know it was not brand new. Great product and saved quite a bit of money buying a refurb. I did have a cheaper lookalike but it was rubbish and this is worth paying more for.”
However, if you were looking for a brand-new video doorbell you can look at this one that offers “peace-of-mind”, the Blink Video Doorbell, £59.99 from Currys or Argos’ Arlo Video Doorbell for £44.99.
