Amazon slashes price of 70cl 'cake in a bottle' Baileys to £10

Amazon has slashed the price of a unique version of Baileys Irish cream liqueur ahead of Black Friday. The online retailer has already cut the price of the original Baileys to 'cheaper then the supermarkets' and it has now added Baileys Birthday Cake Liqueur to its discounts.

You can get 70cl bottle of Baileys Birthday Cake Liqueur for £10, down from £17. Baileys is a popular drink to have over the festive season and many have said this is a perfect twist on the classic.

The tasting notes say it has "sweet vanilla and chocolate notes, creamy and original Irish whiskey combine with the delicious aroma of buttery frosting, sprinkles and freshly baked cake". The product description said: "Enjoy straight from the fridge with ice or poured over ice cream, mixed into cake mix for an extra oomph, or get even more creative with a Baileys Birthday Cake Cocktail."

The Baileys Birthday Cake Liqueur has hundreds of positive reviews on Amazon, with one calling it "cake in a bottle". Many also said it was a great gift and praised the look and design of the bottle.

However Chrissy R did caution people on the sweetness, they said: "I love the original Bailey's but this is a very close run second. Very accurate description like birthday cake. This may be too sweet for some people it is extremely sweet, but I have a very sweet tooth so it suits me beautifully."

The Baileys Birthday Cake Liqueur isn't the only Baileys flavour on offer, you can get the Colada flavour for £14, down from £18.50, the Baileys Chocolate Liqueur is now £11 instead of £20 and the Baileys Espresso Creme and the Baileys Salted Caramel Liqueur are both now £10 for 50cl.

In a similar bargain move, Amazon has slashed the price of Salted Caramel Baileys to its lowest in 30 days, now going for a tempting £10, reduced from £20. And for those looking for something a bit different, Hotel Chocolat's Espresso Martini Velvetised Cream offers a luxurious mix at £23.

It combines vodka, espresso, white chocolate and cream for a richly satisfying treat which is ideal on its own or as a lush boost to coffee or hot chocolate.
