Amazon's £18 'godsend' sleep gadget customers are loving
Amazon customers are praising a gadget dubbed a “godsend” for those who have difficulty falling asleep. The Musicozy Sleep Mask Headphones are receiving glowing reviews for their sleep-aiding capabilities, even during flights—and they're being credited with saving marriages.
The nifty product merges an eye mask with a speaker, enabling users to listen to white noise, audiobooks or soothing music without disturbing their partner or the discomfort of cumbersome headphones. The item, available in four different colours, usually sells for £22.99 but has been slashed to just £17.50 - for a limited time.
The headphones feature a Bluetooth speaker that offers between 10 to 14 hours of music playback per charge, along with a super soft eye mask that effectively blocks out light. What is said to distinguish the product, however, is its comfort.

The item has a 4.2-star rating on Amazon and over 3,800 reviews - the majority of which recommend it. One review said: “I am an extremely light sleeper, and the tiniest lump or bump in something, and I can feel it. I bought these after moving house, and my new upstairs neighbour is unintentionally loud, waking me up at 4:30am-5:30am.
"Since I started wearing these about a week ago, I have slept through the night with no problems. I can clearly hear my audiobooks through the speakers.
“Due to the thick, soft material, I don't think that the speakers are as noticeable as the thinner version. They take some getting used to, which is to be expected. But seeing as I am basically the princess and the pea, and every little thing is noticeable to me, I have been pleasantly surprised with this product.
“I do think they are valuable for money; they are easy to charge and connect. And for me, you can't put a price on quality sleep. I would definitely recommend this item.”
Another customer added: “I've had my sleep mask for a year now and use it every night to fall asleep to a Headspace sleepcast or background noise. It's been completely reliable and does the job perfectly. It's comfortable to wear, and the headphone parts aren't lumpy when lying with my head on my side. The battery lasts a few nights. It's a shame it doesn't time out with no music or voice playing.

"I generally have something on for 45 minutes and fall asleep, but the mask is still switched on in the morning, which seems a bit of a waste of battery life. However, at this price, I can't complain. I would definitely recommend it.”
Echoing a similar sentiment, another wrote: “My husband has had a few sleep masks; however, he says that this is the best yet for comfort. He uses it daily as he likes to sleep to the sound of the TV, whereas I like silence. He seems very happy with it, and I can't hear any noise leak from it like some others.”
