An 'ambitious' Glasgow student has died suddenly, just one day before her 23rd birthday.
Sravanthi Karingula passsed away on Monday (January 13). She was living in Glasgow and had been undertaking a masters course in business administration and management at the University of Strathclyde.
Ms Karingula died suddenly following an accident according to her cousin, Latha Reddy. Ms Reddy said Sravanthi came to Glasgow "with dreams of building a bright future and making her family proud".

"Tragically, her journey was cut short, leaving her family and loved ones in immense grief," said Ms Reddy. "Her family wishes to bring her back home to India for her final rites and to honour her memory in accordance with their traditions."
A fundraiser has now been launched in order to return Ms Karingula's body to family in Hyderabad, India. The appeal has already raised over £10,000.
Ms Reddy thanked all those who had donated, adding that the donations would "help us bring Sravanthi back to her family and provide them with some comfort in this unimaginable loss".
Repatriation is now being arranged for Sravanthi. If you wish to donate to the appeal, details can be found here.
Mouhamad Shaker Ali Agha, Business Analysis and Consulting Programme Director in Strathclyde University’s Business School, said: “The University community is deeply saddened by the death of Sravanthi. Sravanthi was a source of inspiration and positivity for everyone around her. Her passion for learning, kindness, and dedication was very obvious and she will remain in the hearts of the Business Analysis and Consulting Programme lecturers and her colleagues. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time.”
