Ambulance service statement after A50 driver found dead
Paramedics have revealed there was nothing they could do to save the life of an A50 motorist. They had been called to the A50 eastbound between Blythe Bridge and Uttoxeter on Saturday afternoon.
But the driver was pronounced dead. The A50 eastbound was closed for a number of hours following the tragedy.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called by the police following concerns for the welfare of a patient on the A50. An ambulance attended. Sadly one man was confirmed deceased."
