Ambulances dispatched to Cobridge lights 'medical emergency'

Two ambulances have been dispatched to a 'medical emergency' on one of Stoke-on-Trent's busiest junctions. The ambulances were seen on Waterloo Road, in Cobridge, this afternoon.

But the patient did not require hospital treatment. The alarm was raised at 1.13pm this afternoon.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a medical emergency at the junction of Waterloo Road and Elder Road at 1.13pm. Two ambulances attended the scene. On arrival we discovered a woman who was not injured, and we were stood down."
