American Flag Unfurled From Pedestrian Bridge to Mark Veterans Day

A large US flag was unfurled from North America’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Tennessee to mark Veterans Day on November 11.

Gatlinburg SkyLift Park said this footage of the flag on Gatlinburg SkyBridge was filmed on Friday, November 8. The flag was flown over the weekend and was due to be taken down on November 12 after Veterans Day had passed.

“Thank you Veterans for your sacrifice, service, and time given to this great country,” Gatlinburg SkyLift Park wrote on Facebook. “From all of your friends at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, we wish you a Happy Veterans Day.”
