Get your calendars ready people, because FX has just confirmed the premiere dates for a host of its new and returning series in the 2018-2019 television season, including American Horror Story season eight, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season13 and the Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans MC.

So, what are the dates to look out for? Well, new episodes of American Horror Story will premiere on Wednesday, September 12, which will give fans the season they've been looking forward to for years, as showrunner Ryan Murphy confirmed that season eight would feature the long-awaited Murder House and Coven crossover.

At present, we don't know what exactly that means for season eight, but Murphy has also revealed that the new season takes place in late 2019 and promised that it's a "very high concept".

"It's a season unlike anything we've done because there's a big hook to it. There's a huge thing that happens in episode five," Murphy teased.

In terms of the cast, fan favourites including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters are all returning, alongside Cult comebacks Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd.

Meanwhile, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will return for its thirteenth season on Wednesday, September 5.

Anyone hoping for confirmation over whether or not we'll be seeing Glenn Howerton in that season, however, will have to keep on waiting, as FX's official statement claims that: "The Gang returns… mostly."

In fact, just to keep us guessing, the official line from FX (via TVLine) is that Mac, Charlie, Dee and Frank are all still at Paddy's Pub while Dennis "takes on the new role of father in North Dakota".

Finally, FX also confirmed an air date for Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans MC, which will premiere on Tuesday, September 4.

Co-creeated by Anarchy showrunner Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, Mayans MC will be set in a post-Jax Teller world and focuses on the rival biker gang of the same name who previously crossed paths with SAMCRO and Jax Teller.

Revolution's JD Pardo stars as EZ Reyes - a Mayans MC recruit who is torn between the woman he loves and his loyalty to the gang.
