Ant McPartlin has proven that it is business as usual, beaming for the cameras as he returned to work on Britain’s Got Talent just days after confirming that he had separated from his wife, Lisa Armstrong.
Ant was photographed grinning in a ‘Kiss Me Quick’ cowboy hat as he and his co-star, Declan Donnelly, arrived in Blackpool to film the auditions for the hit ITV show.
In one photo, posted to Ant and Dec’s official social media pages, the pair can be seen by the city’s Madame Tussauds, with Dec captioning the snap: “Day 1 of @BGT 2018. Just time for a quick visit to our wax models at @MadameTussauds! It’s sooooo cold.”
Another, posted to judge Alesha Dixon’s Instagram page, show’s Ant, Dec, Alesha, and fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams, and Simon Cowell, fooling around on the tour bus, with Alesha writing: “Oh hey!!! @bgt family reunited”.

Needless to say, fans were thrilled to see that Ant looks on such great form, with one commenting: “Ant’s a legend for still doing BGT despite what’s happened.”
Another added: “Good to see Ant looking happy.”
On Saturday [13 January] night, Ant released a statement regarding the speculation that has been surrounding his marriage since his stint in rehab last summer.
It read: “In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families. No further statement will be made.”
Lisa is yet to comment on the split but has liked a series of optimistic tweets on her social media account, with one reading: “Going through difficult times we must always be reminded that better times are ahead.
“For a beautiful person like yourself it will be tough but keep your chin up and you will bloom again.”
It was previously reported that Ant plans to offer Lisa half of his £60million fortune in the divorce settlement, with the star allegedly keen to ensure that the Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist is “financially and emotionally supported”.
Ant first met Lisa in 1994, when Lisa was in the band Deuce, just five years after Ant and his co-star Dec first found fame in CBBC drama Byker Grove.
The tied the knot in 2006.
