Piers Morgan has revealed that he will be a regular fixture on Good Morning Britain for the next two years as he has signed on the dotted line once again.

The controversial broadcaster announced on Thursday that his new deal will keep him on the ITV show for longer.

He broke the news on Twitter using a photo of himself shouting in a foghorn as co-host Susanna Reid bangs her head on the desk.

He captioned the image: “BREAKING: Bad news for Britain, even worse news for @susannareid100....

“I just signed a new deal to stay on @GMB for 2 more years. #TheFoghornStays.”

The news didn't sit well with some viewers, with many saying they would be “staying away” from the show for another two years.

Replying to his tweet, one person said: “Poor Susanna. I'd go back to the BBC if I were you. How does his wife tolerate him. Is she deaf?!”

While another jibed: “@susannareid100 they must be desperate keeping him on poor you.”
