Amused Glasgow locals left wondering 'who is Patrick?' after west end shop changes sign
Locals in the west end have been left wondering "who is Patrick?" after a popular convenience store unveiled a new look.
The long-established Partick Superstore, on Dumbarton Road in Partick is understood to have recently changed a sign outside the shop. However, eagle-eyed shoppers were quick to notice its name has changed to 'Patrick Superstore'.
An image of the sign has circulated across multiple social media pages, with some claiming it might be a spelling mistake while others get behind the new name.

One person wrote: "Patrick fae Partick."
Another joked: "Patrick was also named on the front of the No 3 bus from Whiteinch yesterday. The guy gets around."
A third added: "Great wee shop." While a fourth said "autocorrect gone bad."
Glasgow Live has approached the shop for comment.
