Yahoo News Amy Adams' new movie Nightbitch confirms Disney+ release date
Amy Adams' new movie Nightbitch has confirmed its release date for Disney+.
Following a Toronto International Film Festival premiere and an American theatrical release, the film will be available for UK and Irish film fans to watch from January 24.
The film focuses on a woman who has put her artistic career on hold to be a stay-at-home mother, and has become resentful as a result. Without spoiling anything, we'll just say that it gets pretty surreal.

Alongside Man of Steel and Arrival star Adams, the film also features Scoot McNairy (Speak No Evil), Zoë Chao (Strangers), Mary Holland (Maggie Moore(s)), Ella Thomas (9-1-1), and Jessica Harper (Suspiria).

When Adams spoke to Digital Spy in November to promote the film, she said that its themes about motherhood would be relatable in a way that other films aren't.
"I'm getting that people feel seen, like it really reflects an experience that isn't really talked about," she said.
"A lot of the complications and a lot of our innermost thoughts that we don't always voice, so it's nice to hear that they're identifying with it.

"When [my character] started talking about her feelings about her husband and that it delved into, also the relationship journey with her and her spouse, that was very relatable to me as well.
"The bigger picture of parenthood as well as the feelings that the loss of identities bring up in you. This sort of feral rage towards your partner, I know that. I mean, my husband is lovely, but still."

She also spoke to us about what it was like working with so many dogs on the set.
Following Nightbitch, Adams' next lead movie role is the real-life comedy Lazy Susans, which she is also producing.
