Amy Childs And Gemma Collins Are Returning To TOWIE

Get ready to see some familiar faces back on The Only Way Is Essex, because some of the original cast members are making a return.

Temporarily, anyway.

Yep, Amy Childs and Gemma Collins are going back to TOWIE to help the show celebrate the impressive 200th episode.

A source confirmed their return to The Sun, saying: “It’s true that both Amy Childs and Gemma Collins were among other former TOWIE stars invited back to Sugar Hut last week for filming.

“As the show that they first found fame on, they were only too happy to participate on filming for TOWIE’s 200th episode and talk about how grateful they are for the chance the show gave them in starting out.”

The source continued on to say there didn’t seem to be any discussions about a permanent return for the pair, but added: “They’re all still Brentwood locals, so never say never!”

Amy left the show in 2011, while Gemma made her departure last year.

Jessica Wright, meanwhile, announced her departure from the show this week, saying in an Instagram video: “Hi everyone, I just want to let you all personally know that after five amazing years on The Only Way Is Essex it is time for me to step away.

“I’ve had the best time and I want to say thank you all so much for your support, you will be seeing me soon and I’m also going to be keeping up with all the goss in Essex. Love you all lots.”

Ferne McCann also recently announced she was leaving the show, while Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green have joined the cast.
