Amy Hart was "cyberflashed" and received "graphic sexual messages" during her pregnancy.

The former 'Love Island' star - who appeared on the ITV dating show in 2019 - welcomed her first son Stanley with partner Sam Rason last month, and she wants to raise awareness of the concerning trend after she started receiving unsolicited pictures following her time in the villa.

Reflecting on how the cyberflashing continued during her pregnancy, she told heat magazine: "It was really weird, because the pictures came alongside some really graphic sexual messages.

"Cyberflashing is violating and can be disempowering."

Her partner Sam, 35, was also appalled by the way men have behaved online.

She explained: "My partner Sam thinks it's so weird. He was like, 'I wouldn't even send you that now and we've been together for two years.' "

While the 30-year-old star describes herself as typically being "stupidly fearless", that attitude shifted while she was pregnant.

She added: "When I go to London and come out of West End shows at night, I'll walk back to the Tube or train.

"But, once I was pregnant, as soon as anyone walked slightly nearer to me, I was worrying about what they were going to do.

"You're not just thinking about yourself anymore."

Although Amy - who has teamed up with dating app Bumble to tackle the issue of cyberflashing - noted that "it's not something that just happens to people in the public eye", she suggested people see reality stars and influences as "fair game".

She said: "With 'Love Island', people either love it - like me, it's still my favourite show - or they're proud they don't watch it.

"Being an influencer, as well, people think we're fair game and want to push that as far as they can."
