Amy Schumer Leaves A Huge Tip For Bartenders

Amy Schumer has made us love her even more thanks to the amazingly generous tip she left for bartenders at Broadway show ‘Hamilton’ in New York.

Forget 10% - Amy left a huge $1000 tip on a $77 bar bill when she went to enjoy the show with family and friends.

Speaking about Amy’s generosity, Madeleine DeJohn, a bartender and aspiring actor, told the New York Daily News: “I was very touched, it was just something so generous and so kind that you don’t see every day.

Madeleine said that when the bar staff thanked Amy for being so kind and generous, the ‘Trainwreck’ actress said: “I’ve been there, I get it.”

She added that it’s not the first time Amy’s shown her heart of gold, explaining that the actress previously left an $80 tip for a $40 bill.

Madeleine continued: “I’d like to think if I become that successful, that I can do the same. She’s been one of us. She reminded me that there’s still a lot of good in the world.”

It’s reported that the tip was split between the six bar staff who were working on the night.
