A mural of Amy Winehouse is unveiled in Camden on what would have been her 38th birthday. The artwork promotes an upcoming exhibition about the singer at the Design Museum in London. ‘Amy: Beyond the Stage’ celebrates her legacy and marks the 10th anniversary of her death. Amy died from alcohol poisoning in July 2011 at the age of 27. Visitors to the retrospective will be able to view previously unseen personal items including her teenage notebooks, photographs and handwritten lyrics. Fans will also be able see some of Winehouse’s clothes. The show also features an instillation inspired by the Metropolis Studio where part of her hit album ‘Back to Black’ was recorded. The exhibition opens at the Design Museum on 26th November. Tickets are on sale now.
