Andoni Iraola has already made feelings clear on Leeds United 'transfer target' Max Aarons
Full-back is a position Leeds United are seeking to strengthen in the final week of the transfer window. It is an area of the team that manager Daniel Farke has wanted to bring in additional cover to all summer.
Jayden Bogle, a £5m acquisition from Sheffield United, Sam Byram and Junior Firpo are currently the only recognised senior full-backs on the Whites' books. Austrian international Max Wober could fill in on the left hand side, although centre-half is his natural role.
United were linked yesterday with a surprise move for Bournemouth defender Max Aarons. A Football Insider report suggested the Whites are interested in taking the 24-year-old on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Farke knows Aarons well, having worked with him at his former club Norwich City. Aarons looked poised to move to Elland Road last summer after United reached a £12m agreement with the Canaries, only to perform an eleventh hour U-turn after staying in the city overnight and undergoing medical tests.
Aarons featured 23 times for the Cherries last season, starting just 13 Premier League matches. Two hamstring injuries hampered his progress as Adam Smith nailed down the right-back berth.
Several clubs, including Southampton and Italian side Roma, have been linked with Aarons in recent weeks. When quizzed on Aarons' future and the transfer speculation surrounding the player, head coach Andoni Iraola said: “For me, I would say that it was very affected by the injuries.
“He didn’t have a lot of injuries, he had two muscle injuries, but the recovery was very, very long for both. In the end, he missed nearly half the season.
“I think he started very well, but then he had these two injuries and also Adam Smith’s performances. I think Adam in the past season performed amazingly, so it was not easy, even when he recovered at the end, to regain his position.
“But he has come in and done a complete pre-season. Now he is fully fit and ready to challenge, like the others.”
