Andrea McLean 'didn't mean to' publicly reveal breakdown live on 'Loose Women'
Andrea McLean recently opened up about experiencing a breakdown last year, however, she's now revealed she didn't intend to discuss the personal issue live on Loose Women earlier this month.
It came as McLean, 50, spoke of how it would've been "horrendous" if she had to go through lockdown while in the "dark place" she found herself in during 2019.
"I had a breakdown last year which is not something I've necessarily spoken about, but I did," she shared at the time.

Now, in an interview with The Mirror the mother-of-two has said: “I didn’t mean to talk it about on air. I had been off air for six weeks and then when I went back on it slipped out.
“I’m not ashamed of it and I’ve learnt so much. I think people were surprised as they think ‘she doesn’t look like the type of person who has a breakdown’."
McLean said she suffered a breakdown due to being "someone who tries too hard to do everything" and one who "holds everything in".
The presenter added to the publication that it was "personal" and not professional. When she originally opened up her struggle, McLean made it clear her colleagues were aware of what had happened.
The TV host is currently in lockdown with her third husband Nick Feeney, along with daughter Amy, 13, and 18-year-old Finlay from her previous marriages.
