There's a lot of love in the air around mid-February, and Platform Presents are harnessing it all for a good cause.

The organisation, which offers a platform for burgeoning theatrical & filmic talent – actors, writers and directors – will bring together an array of recognisable faces from stage and screen to raise finds for Help Refugees.

Choose Love, a charitable event taking place on 19 February, will see the stars read some of the world's favourite love poems, with ticket proceeds going towards helping those who have been displaced by war.

Confirmed performers include actors Joely Richardson, Ben Whishaw, Andrew Scott, Jade Anouka, Cara Theobold and Lindsay Duncan, musicians Florence Welch and Doc Brown, as well as playwright Tom Stoppard and poet James Massiah.

The founders of Platform Presents – actor Gala Gordon (who will also perform that evening) and producer Isabella Macpherson – have teamed up with playwright Polly Stanham to curate the event at the Fortune Theatre.

Tickets are £40 (£25 for Under 26s), available at atgtickets.com. Visit platformpresents.com for more information
