Will Andy Cohen 'Eviscerate' Kyle Richards at the “RHOBH” Reunion? If Erika Jayne Gets Her Wish, Yes
'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' season 13 reunion will be filmed on Friday
Erika Jayne knows what she wants to see at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, but that doesn’t mean Andy Cohen is going to play along.
The 52-year-old Bravo star — who's no stranger to her marriage being in the hot seat at a reunion — told Cohen, 55, on Watch What Happens Live last week that she hopes her friend and castmate Kyle Richards faces tough questions about the state of her relationship with Mauricio Umansky.
“As somebody who got eviscerated, I would like to see everybody get the same treatment," she told the host on last week. "I love her. She's a dear friend of mine, but fair is fair."
Jayne was likely referencing the season 11 RHOBH reunion when Cohen grilled her on her then-dissolved marriage to Tom Girardi and pushed for answers on why she’d stayed with him for more than two decades.
This time around, though, as Richards, 55, faces questions about Umansky, 53, Cohen isn’t necessarily going to take the same approach.
"My plan is never to eviscerate anyone, but I always ask the questions that need to be asked,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
"Kyle has been very forthcoming with me since we wrapped filming about where she is with Mauricio," he continued. "I expect that to continue at the reunion, which we tape on Friday."
The relationship between Richards and Umansky — who share four daughters — has had its ups and downs since July 2022, when PEOPLE confirmed that they had separated after 27 years together. Just a few hours later, the couple broke their silence and acknowledged they were facing a make-or-break phase in their marriage.
"In regards to the news that came out about us today... Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue," Richards shared on her Instagram. "However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously."
Despite their troubles, Umansky has insisted that he and Richards were working on their marriage and had no plans to divorce. “We’ve been married for 27 years. We’re having a bit of a rough patch," he told PEOPLE in October, adding that “sometimes life throws you different things” and “you’ve gotta work through it.”
The Agency founder also admitted that he’d opted not to watch this season of the Bravo show to avoid seeing the “dramatization” of his marriage.
“I know that they're dramatizing everything,” he said on the The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show podcast in November. “There’s a bunch of stuff that I don't really want to see because it will just create more noise for me and more opinions.”
“People that watch that show are all opinionated and they just don't realize it. There are two humans on the other side of your opinion. That's really, really difficult,” he added.
