Andy Murray’s 2022 grass-court schedule is falling into place after it was confirmed he will start next year’s road to Wimbledon at the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart.
The three-time Grand Slam winner will make his first appearance at the ATP 250 event in Germany with the tournament set to mark the start of his grass-court season.
“I’m always looking forward to the grass-court season, so I’ll start my preparations for it a little earlier than usual next year,” Murray said.
“I will be playing on grass in Stuttgart for the first time and I am really looking forward to this new experience.”
