Angelina Jolie is being supported by Johnny Depp following Brad Pitt split

It has been reported that Angelina Jolie has found comfort in her friend, Johnny Depp, following her split from husband, Brad Pitt.

The star became good friends with Johnny after they appeared in ‘The Tourist’ together back in 2010, and Johnny is no doubt able to offer her some words of wisdom having just gone through his own high-profile divorce from ex, Amber Heard.

In fact, it’s even been said that Johnny recommended his divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, to Angelina.

A source told The Sun: “Angelina idolised Johnny for years before she worked with him on ‘The Tourist’, and then the pair of them really hit it off on set.

“The two of them have stayed in touch ever since then, and spoke regularly during the storm that surrounded Johnny’s break up with Amber.

“There’s no suggestion that their closeness played any part in Angelina and Brad’s split. But they have been speaking about the situation, and Angelina hired Johnny’s lawyer to represent her based on the advice that he has given her.

“Her friends are now speculating about what could happen between them if she and Brad are not reconciled and their divorce goes through.”

There has been huge speculation surrounding Angelina and Brad’s shock divorce, with it being claimed that Brad didn’t hear about it until Monday – just 24 hours before the rest of the world.

It was then alleged that Angelina had filed for divorce after Brad “physically and verbally abused” their eldest child, Maddox, but these claims have been strongly denied.

Brad is set to fight for shared custody of his and Angelina’s six children, with the actress only prepared to grant him visitation rights.
