Angelina Jolie threatens Perez Hilton with lawsuit
Angelina Jolie is threatening to sue Perez Hilton over his news coverage of her divorce from Brad Pitt.
The American blogger has been contacted by lawyers for the 41-year-old actress, who demanded that he change his report on their split or else he’ll feel the force of her legal team.
Perez is famed for his talent to deliver celebrity news content in an edgy, excitable style and dishes dirt on celebs through close sources, but he claims he’s stuck to the rule book with his reporting on Brangelina and is hurt by the accusations made by the actress’s legal eagles Bert Fields and Priya Sapori because he’s always been one of her biggest supporters.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, he revealed he had locked horns with the US ambassador and posted a screenshot of his email response to her lawyers on Instagram, which read: “In other news, #AngelinaJolie’s lawyers at Greenberg Glusker have just threatened to sue me for my coverage of her split from #BradPitt.
“ME!! I have always been one of Angelina Jolie’s loudest and strongest supporters and defenders!!!!! This was my email back to Angelina’s lawyers, #BertFields and#PriyaSapori. Glad I’m not running for president!!”

The 37-year-old Celebrity Big Brother star says he’s “livid” and has demanded a direct apology.
His response read: “Please get this message to Angelina Jolie herself. She KNOWS … I have ALWAYS been a huge fan and SUPPORTER of hers!! I am livid!!! Unless she wants to turn me into an enemy, I want an apology right now.
He added: “I am not changing anything. If you want to sue me, my lawyer is Brian Freedman and he is CC’d. I did nothing illegal. We stand 100% behind our reporting. F**k YOU. And suck my d**k!”
We doubt Angelina will do or back down. It was previously claimed she ended her two-year marriage to the 52-year-old actor because they constantly fought in front of their six children and she requested full custody of the kids, allowing Brad supervised visitation rights.
