Animals Evacuated to Safety in Netherlands During Deadly Flooding in Western Europe

Small animals in the town of Valkenburg were evacuated to safety after torrential flooding hit the Netherlands between July 14 and 15.

Masses of emergency responders and around 100 soliders were deployed across the province of Limburg, according to local media.

Additional evacuations were issued in South Limburg in the early hours of July 16 as police patrolled the impacted areas.
