Anna Faris Teams Up With Air New Zealand For Their Latest Safety Video

Let’s be honest, we’re all guilty of quietly ignoring the safety instructions at the start of our flights, which is why we think it’s bloomin’ brilliant that Air New Zealand went above and beyond to give their customers a little something to pay attention to.

The airline has teamed up with actress Anna Faris and New Zealand acting legend Rhys Darby for their latest safety video, aptly entitled Safety In Hollywood.

The vid was shot at Warner Bros. Studios and parodies several different famous film genres whilst Rhys attempts to convince Anna to join him in the Air New Zealand footage.

Head of Global Brand at the airline, Jodi Williams, shared: “It’s been fantastic to partner again with Warner Bros., which helped to produce the airline’s Hobbit inflight safety videos, and to work with the talented Rhys Darby and Anna Faris in Hollywood – the home of the US filmmaking industry.

"Anna and Rhys make a great comedic duo and really bring this safety video to life, entertaining customers while at the same time imparting key safety messages.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Air New Zealand are famed for their innovative inflight safety videos and previous ones have attracted more than 83 million views online after the cast of The Hobbit took over their safety videos.

Speaking about her role, Anna shared: “I really wanted to be part of this project because Air New Zealand has really redefined safety videos with its fun and creative approach.

"And working with Kiwi actor Rhys Darby was an absolute treat. It’s so easy to tune out when watching a traditional safety video, so it comes as such a delightful surprise when you get something that’s really fun and funny.”

Safety In Hollywood will begin airing on the airline’s flights from today - just another reason to book with Air New Zealand.
