It's a collaboration we have to admit we didn't see coming: Anna Kendrick and Four Lions and Brass Eye creator Chris Morris have apparently just shot a project together.

That's almost as surprising as the fact that Four Lions came out seven years ago.

Those in the know over on Chortle have claimed that Chris's secret Caribbean-based project also stars the likes of Fonejacker himself Kayvan Novak and Orange is the New Black's Danielle Brooks.

The secret film, which we're assuming is going to be a comedy (and a hilarious one at that), was reportedly shot over summer on location – and that's just about all we know at the moment.

Someone who does know more than us, but isn't saying much, is Back's creator and a seasoned collaborator of Morris's, Simon Blackwell.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month, Simon confessed that he was "aware of what [Chris is] cooking". "I can't show you the menu I'm afraid," he teased.

Promising that Morris's upcoming offering will not be merely marvellous but "very marvellous", Simon cryptically added: "He has an elite troop of killers who will come and get you."

Morris's first feature film Four Lions, which also starred Kayvan Novak alongside Riz Ahmed and Arsher Ali, was released back in 2010 to critical acclaim.

The dark satirical comedy follows a group of radicalised Muslims as they plot to become suicide bombers.
