Ant and Dec win National Television Award for Best Presenter as unbeaten run extends to 23 years
Bookies predicted it would happen and Ant and Dec have once again proven they're unbeatable by winning the Best Presenter trophy at the National Television Awards for the 23rd year in a row.
The duo have seen off some tough competition over the years from the likes of Graham Norton, Davina McCall and Holly Willoughby and this time it was Claudia Winkleman, Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh and Stacey Solomon they were up against for one of the big awards of the night, as the National Television Awards took over London's O2 Arena.
No other presenter has had a look in for over two decades now and, the results went with the odds as it was Ant and Dec's names that read out as winners, with the duo as humble as ever, as they thanked fans for their continued support and Ant added: "I know we're not going to win it one year!"

It's been a busy year for the Geordie duo, with the last 12 months seeing them host another series of I'm A Celebrity, bringing their own game show Limitless Win back, fronting what looks set to be the last ever series of Saturday Night Takeaway for a while and present Britain's Got Talent.
They were the overwhelming favourites to take home the Presenter accolade on Wednesday night on odds of 1/5, with bookmakers seeing Strictly and The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman as their biggest fresh, fresh from her shooting a new series of The Piano in Ant and Dec's home town of Newcastle on Tuesday.
