Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway gave viewers a blast of SMTV Live nostalgia tonight (March 20).

As previously promised, Ant McPartlin, Dec Donnelly and Cat Deeley caught up for the first time in years – yep, we're excluding 2020's reunion – after making their names together as kids TV show presenters from 1998 to 2003.

For this special occasion, the lads subjected their old pal to the hilarious segment known as 'Get Me Out of Ear', where they set up Cat in a number of mischievous (and ruthless) ways without her knowledge.

But that paled in comparison to the Chums revival they made especially for tonight – the Friends parody from SMTV Live.

In it, we found out that married couple (well... not legally, thanks to Ant's incompetence) Dec and Cat had a daughter in the form of Emily Atack, who came to the pair's official wedding ceremony alongside some very cool celebs.

This included Sting, Simon Pegg, pop band Steps, comedian Joe Lycett, Brian McFadden, Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

As this 'End of the Show Show' played out, fans writing on Twitter shared their joy, as one individual tweeted: "Amazing!!!! In stitches #chums brought me back to when I was 16".

"You know you're old when you remember watching "Chums" 20 years ago...! Absolutely loved the trip down memory lane!! So funny..." added someone else.

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway continues next week (March 27) on ITV.
