Ant McPartlin's ex-wife slams him over new girlfriend

Lisa Armstrong has seemingly reacted to Ant McPartlin starting a new relationship.

The Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway star was pictured out with his personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, with reports suggesting the pair are now dating.

Taking to Twitter, Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist Lisa tweeted an emoji of broken hearts.

She was then inundated with responses from fans sending their best wishes to her.

Model Nicola McLean wrote: "Sending my love Lisa!! Really feel for you worst pain ever," with Lisa replying: "Thanks babe and to think she was MY friend!!"

She also claimed that McPartlin didn't give her any prior warning that the story was set to emerge in the media.

"Nope. Just how you guys did," she told a fan.

The couple were together for 23 years, and married for 11 after they wed in 2006.

They announced they were set to divorce in January 2018, after McPartlin revealed their marriage had been under strain while he battled his addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol.

Anne-Marie Corbett split from her husband and the father of her two children last October.

She was by McPartlin's side as he was sentenced for drink driving following a car crash – the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! presenter was fined £86,000 and given a 20-month road ban.
