Ant McPartlin dedicates National Television Award to Newcastle's Eddie Howe after Presenter win
Ant McPartlin gave a special thanks to Eddie Howe, as he and best pal Dec Donnelly took home the Best Presenter award yet again at the National Television Awards.
The Geordie duo, having won the accolade 22 times before, were the red hot favourites to win the category once again, with them up against This Morning's Alison Hammond, Strictly and The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman, Bradley Walsh and Sort Your Life Out's Stacey Solomon.
By the time the Presenter accolade was handed out, Ant and Dec, Claudia and Stacey each had one win under their belt, with Stacey winning the first award of the evening, Factual for Sort Your Life Out, The Traitors taking home Reality Competition and I'm A Celebrity the victor in the battle for Entertainment.

Bookies had Ant and Dec as 1/5 to win Best Presenter and it was the ITV hosts who ended up on the winner's rostrum once again, with them once again very humble in their triumph, as Ant quipped: "I know we're not going to win it one year!" Dec also joked that their well know all nighters for National Television Award after parties were long gone, with them instead getting home early for 'the school run.
Dec then gave a huge thanks to 'everyone in the Toon' who voted for them, with then seizing the opportunity to mention Eddie, the manager of their beloved Newcastle United, as he added: "I love him!"
