Ant McPartlin appeared to put his marital woes behind him as he teamed up with TV partner Declan Donnelly to kick off the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Blackpool.

The TV star, 42, fooled around in a pink fluffy cowboy hat as he headed to the seaside town days after announcing his divorce from wife Lisa Armstrong.

Judge David Walliams posted a group photo of Ant and Dec riding a tram with fellow judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon as they made their way to the Blackpool Opera House.

He captioned the shot: “Mr @SimonCowell looks delighted that the gang is back together. @BGT.”

Holden and Dixon made sure to steal the spotlight from their fellow judges as they hit the red carpet with the Mayor of Blackpool Councillor Ian Coleman.

Holden looked stunning in a sheer red dress as she mingled with fans.

The TV star sparked 665 complaints to broadcast watchdog Ofcom during last year's series after she showed up to the live auditions in a risque black dress.

Dixon looked equally as eye-catching in a monochrome striped jumpsuit. The former Mis-Teeq singer rivalled Holden's racy wardrobe with a plunging neckline.

The pair fooled around for the cameras as Holden popped up behind Dixon as she posed for photographers.

Cowell opted for casual attire in a black jumper and his trademark blue jeans while Walliams was suited up.

This year’s contestants will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Tokio Myers who won over viewers with his mash up of classical music and pop songs.

Winners take home £250,000 and a slot at the Royal Variety Performance.

Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV later this year.
