Ant McPartlin major family update as he says 'loving it' at 48
Ant McPartlin has spoken about becoming a dad for the first time aged 48, telling how it has had a transformative effect on his life. The star his wife Anne-Marie Corbett, who is 46, welcomed their son in May.
Ant, one of the most famous faces on TV alongside long-time sidekick Declan Donnelly, has now spoken for the first time about becoming a dad and how he's "loving it". He said: "I'm really good, I'm really happy. There are lots of nappies and sleepless nights but it's absolutely wonderful."
"I'm loving it. It's been the best year." Ant told how he has been getting advice from pal Dec, who is father of two. Ant said: "Dec has been very good, he's given me some good advice."

However, Dec, 48, humorously conceded that his guidance might not always be on point, quipping: "I do share tips and things. They're very bad. My tips are normally: give the baby to somebody else! That's it," reports the Irish Mirror .
Ant's personal journey has seen him overcome challenges, including an addiction to painkillers which led to a hiatus from television between 2015 and 2019. Now back in full swing, he's preparing for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity.
With plans to head to Australia next month alongside Dec for rehearsals, Ant is eager for the show's return: "We've enjoyed having a break this summer. We've been busy. We look forward to doing I'm A Celebrity.
"It's getting cold now, so it's time for a trip to Australia and some winter sun. I know a bit about the series. I've been chatting to some people and I know some names. They're really good. I'm really happy."
Once again, TV favourites Ant and Dec have claimed the Best Presenter Award at the National Television Awards (NTAs), continuing an unprecedented winning streak spanning 23 years. Winning their first award in 2001, the indomitable pair fended off competition from Alison Hammond of This Morning, Claudia Winkleman of Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors, Bradley Walsh of The Chase and Gladiators, as well as television personality Stacey Solomon.
