Ant McPartlin spotted having family meal out on Newcastle's Quayside
Ant McPartlin swapped Saturday Night Takeaway for a family meal out on the Quayside.
The Geordie TV star, who became a father for the first time in May to son Wilder, visited Babucho on Lower Dean Street on Saturday for a three-course meal with his wife Anne-Marie Corbett and stepdaughters Poppy and Daisy.
A post on the restaurant's Facebook page read: "Our team got to serve a very famous local celebrity yesterday and said how lovely he was... We were big fans already but even bigger now."

Waiter Matteo Pisano, served Ant and described him as "really calm and kind". 39-year-old Matteo, who lives in Longbenton and is originally from Sardinia, told ChronicleLive that Ant ordered burrata bruschetta as a starter and a main of roasted salmon, before rounding the meal off with an affogato.
And he was happy to pose for photos with diners and staff alike after his meal. Matteo said: "I was in shock actually when I saw him.
"Everybody in the restaurant was like, oh my god, he's here, everybody was excited. Lots of people were asking for his picture and he said no problem.
"We asked him for a picture at the end and his daughter took it. I'm still shaking actually, it's very rare that you get these kind of customers.
"Obviously we get lots of footballers, but he is very, very famous. And he left a good tip when he paid the bill!"
