Anti-Government Protesters Pelt Police Vehicle in Caracas

Anti-government protesters clashed with police in Caracas on April 6, after opposition leaders led marches through the city. Local reports said the clashes began after some marchers were blocked from moving towards the center of the city.

The protests are the latest in a series against President Nicolas Maduro’s rule of the crisis-hit country, and come in the wake of a since-withdrawn Supreme Court decision to suspend the powers of the country’s National Assembly,
