If you ever wondered what would happen if the worlds of Antiques Roadshow andEastEnders collided, you are very lucky indeed.

The Fiona Bruce-presented show will air a special episode over the festive period from The Queen Vic in Albert Square, ahead of its 40th anniversary celebrations in 2019.

The entertainment-themed special will show-off items such as props from the first Star Wars movie, Jack Nicholson's axe from The Shining, and even a script from the first Doctor Who episode.

Also displayed will be props from Fawlty Towers and Harry Potter memorabilia, which we imagine will be worth quite a sum.

On top of that, EastEnders stars June Brown and Letitia Dean will pop up too – well we couldn't NOT have a cameo or two.

"Luckily, we managed to film on the EastEnders set before it was blown up," Bruce said (via Belfast Telegraph), referring to the gas explosion storyline on the soap earlier this year.

"But we had plenty of drama of our own with rare memorabilia from some of Hollywood's biggest movies, some stunning valuations and a drink at The Queen Vic with two of the Square's most famous residents."

The special was announced late last year, with filming taking place earlier in 2017 on the set of the long-running BBC soap.

Antiques Roadshow airs on BBC One.
