Antonio Conte and Claudio Ranieri shared their experiences of English football during the former Leicester manager's visit to Cobham this week.

Ranieri, who led Leicester to that dramatic success but was fired last month, met with Conte at the Chelsea training complex and the Blues boss suggested they compared notes on what it takes to win the Premier League.

Chelsea take on Bournemouth on Saturday boasting a seven-point lead over Tottenham in the title race.

They have been in first place for five months and dominated the League in much the same way Leicester did last term.

Conte said: “Claudio is a good friend. I was very pleased to see him yesterday in Cobham, to stay together and chat.

“It's normal to ask something about (how Leicester win the title) last season. It was good. We spoke about our experiences in England, his and mine. The different way to train, if you compare England to Italy. We spoke about this, yes. But it was a good chat with him. He's a good friend and I wish for him the best in the future.

“I hope (he gets another job sooner rather than later). I hope for him because he deserves this. He deserves another job. And he's ready. He's ready to take another job.”
