Chelsea manager Antonio Conte revealed Pedro was taken to hospital but is doing "OK" after the winger sustained a head injury in the club's 3-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday.

The Spaniard was one of Chelsea's brightest players in the friendly clash in Beijing before he was caught by David Ospina as the Arsenal goalkeeper attempted to punch clear a cross that had come into the box.

Pedro failed to get up for a few minutes following the incident before he was helped off the pitch by the Chelsea medical staff and then taken to hospital.

The Blues will now travel to Singapore ahead of their games against Bayern Munich on Tuesday and against Inter Milan next Saturday.

And Conte confirmed that Pedro is likely to join up with the squad there despite being taken to hospital, although it is likely he will travel later than the rest of the squad who fly to Singapore on Saturday night.

Conte said: "He should be OK.

"He stays here and if the situation is OK he will come tomorrow to Singapore."
