Antony transfer value plummets amid Manchester United FFP concern
Antony's market value has dramatically fallen since his move to Manchester United over two years ago.
The Brazilian signed for United in the summer of 2022, before Erik ten Hag's first season at Old Trafford. United agreed a £83.7million (€100million) deal with Ajax to sign Antony who has since gone on to score 12 goals in 86 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Ten Hag gave Antony regular minutes across his first two seasons at United. However, this season has seen the United No.21 become a rarer figure on the team-sheet.

Antony has made just four appearances for United this term and has played just 28 minutes in his two outings in the Premier League. His one and only start, this campaign, came in their 7-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup which saw the 24-year-old score from the penalty spot to open his account for the season.
Transfermarkt have analysed Antony's market value over the last two years since his move to United. Upon signing for the club, Antony was valued at £62.8million (€75million) and that number decreased to £50.2million (€60million) after just 12 months at Old Trafford.
Fast forward another year to the summer of 2024 and Antony's value had decreased, once again, this time to just £21million (€25million). That value has since decreased, once again, with the United star now valued at £16.8million (€20million) - highlighting a sharp market decline.
This represents a significant drop in market value for Antony of £46million (€55million) in the two years since he signed for United. The forward still has nearly three years left to run on the contract that he signed with the club, back in 2022, with the option of a further season. It remains to be seen how much gametime he will get between now and the end of the 2024/24 season.
